General Upgrade Steps
These general steps are for users upgrading from v5.1 and later. See Additional Steps by Version first if migrating from v5.0 and older.
- Download the new deliverable and extract it on the same system as your old installation.
- Open a command window, navigate to the SolacePubSubMonitor/rtvapm directory, and type:
rtvapm_init.bat (Windows)
. ./rtvapm_init.sh (Linux)
- Execute the upgrade_rtv.bat/sh script. Refer to Scripts for more information, or you can execute upgrade_rtv.bat/sh without any arguments for the usage statement.
- If you modified any of the scripts in bin in the old installation, make a backup copy of those scripts in your new installation, then copy the modified scripts from the old installation to the new installation.
